Our little sweetie turned 1 today! As soon as Cabot woke up Riley ran into his room and started singing, "Happy Birthday to you, You look like a monkey in the zoo." Cabot thought it was pretty cool and laughed and laughed.Cabot wasn't much into opening his presents - although another little boy in our house couldn't wait for him to open them. (= Cabot really liked the wrapping paper though.
Riley and I made Cabot a cake this morning too - but once again my baby was a gentleman and didn't want to smash the cake. Cabot only wanted to take little bits of frosting on his fingers and eat it - I know he would have used a fork if there would have been one within reach. (= So, Daddy helped out a little and smooshed Cabot's hand in the cake so he actually got a little messy. Check out the photos.
