Chatty Cabot

Cabot is starting to use full sentences now. BoBo was hiding from him so he said, “Bobo where are you?" Then he was looking all over for big jet and when he found it he said, "I found big jet." He actually uses sentences all the time, I just don’t always understand them. (=

Speaking of Big Jet (from Little Einsteins for those of you who don’t have young kids) Cabot has adopted an old toy plane of Riley’s and he carries/flies it all over the place calling it Big Jet. He even wraps it up in burp rags and cuddles it. We brought it with to the restaurant tonight and it was the best restaurant trip we have ever had with both boys. Riley used to need toy trains to play with, but with Cabot it takes a toy plane to keep him happy. He flew a sugar packet around in it, and then had it next to his plate the whole time he ate. And he was soooo good! Yeah Big Jet!

Cabot also randomly yells, “oh Toodles” with his head tipped back like he is fully expecting Toodles to fly into view and help him with his current predicament. Sometimes I’m not sure if he is joking around or if he really thinks it will work and Toodles will appear. He's such a little jokester. (= (Toodles is from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, you can tell we are totally a Disney house here, my kids don’t even know the Nickelodeon characters)

Here are some of the animal noises in Cabot's repertoire now:
Cat - "meow"
Cow - "moooo"
Monkey - "ooh ooh"
Dog - "woof woof"
Bear - "roooaaaar" (accompanied by a clawing hand)
Alligator - "chomp chomp"
Elephant - spitting type of noise with his lips squeezed together, trying to make elephant noises like Cady and Loretta, it's hilarious!
