Back to School Rally

Back to School Rally tonight! Riley got to see his new classroom. He's going to be in the Elements program (Gifted & Talented) and I think it is going to be really good for him. He was very sad to be leaving Mrs. Copouls, but she said he can stop by every morning on the way to class for a hug so that made him happier. (= Luckily he already knows 3 kids who will be in class with him too! Janie, Aidan and Maia - and he gets to sit by Maia!!

Here's what Riley had to say about his new class : "I really like it! I'm excited about everything!" It's so great that he is so excited about school, we are so proud of him!

After we saw the classroom Riley, John and Cabot spent some time getting pizza and root beer floats and playing on the playground. Then they came and helped me out at the PTA table in the gym. While we were in there Cabot started practicing his writing on the back of one of the white boards, unfortunately he accidentally used a Sharpie that was there to write on posters on the other side of the board. oops!! He did some good writing though, he started writing something about "Cabot and Mom.." I guess he was very sad he didn't get to finish "Mom" when Riley caught him at it... But, Cabot went and told Mr. A about his mistake and Mr. A gave us alcohol wipes to get it off the white board so all is good. (=
